This 1:18 Exoto Porsche 935 Twin-Turbo “Momo” model is a “PQS” (pre-production quality sample) in excellent condition with ZERO paint rash. The photo-etch metal front splitter is partially detached (Exoto hadn’t yet figured out that their packaging needed to be modified to accommodate this part which was a newly introduced to certain Porsche 935 items. There’s a good chance the splitter could become fully detached during shipping, but it’s easily reattached with white glue.)
Differences between this preproduction sample and the production version are minimal — The “side by side” pics show the item for sale on the left, and the production version on the right, for comparison.
I was a subcontractor to Exoto and received numerous pre-production samples (as well as final production items) to shoot for their web site.
Both boxes and tissue paper are included. The white shipping box features a large sticker with the item number (RLG18109) and a hand-written “.COM” indicating that the sample had been inspected and approved for web site photos. The styrofoam was hand-modified to accommodate the additional features of the new twin-turbo motor that Exoto produced for this and other 935 models to follow.
