As I watch old episodes of Two and a Half Men, I find myself wondering… why does Charlie Harper (and I believe Walden Schmidt too) sleep on a queen-size bed? Why not a king-size? It’s not like we can pretend the character is short on resources to afford the bigger piece of furniture and accompanying linens. Surely the Malibu beach house is large enough to accommodate the extra few inches of mattress.

My best guess: we need to see Charlie and his many partners pressed closely together. But isn’t that solved with camera angles and… ummm… by directing the actors to maintain close proximity.

So… what gives, Hollywood?!
